Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

It's really choppy and suuuuuper scribbly because I took like 30 seconds to draw each frame. Please fill in the gaps and gloss over the art with your wonderful imagination! I made it in Windows Movie Maker which is an absolutely evil program =o=

Eurovision nightGot myself some ice cream and will be making myself compfy on the sofa so I'm ready for the big, glittery, horrible music, camp, pointless politics, drama that is eurovision. It never disappoints me.

Nintendo STEALS Money!Since this has been going around lately, I should probably give my two cents. Basically what it amounts to is that Nintendo has filed Content ID info of their games with YouTube. What this means is that if you upload gameplay video of a Nintendo game, YouTube will automatically monetize that video, put ads on it, a link to where to buy the game, and take the money generated from that video and give it directly to Nintendo. People who do "let's play" videos are, naturally, pissed off because they want to be earning money off their videos, so they're calling Nintendo "thieves" for doing this.
I can see both sides to the story. I can see Nintendo as a corporation wanting to exercise control over their properties. On the other hand, "let's play" videos can often help new gamers find games they otherwise wouldn't have tried.
But here's the thing: Nintendo isn't the first company do this. Both Microsoft and Ubisoft do it already. YouTube has also had a long history of having music videos and

The first thing that I must say is - It was a surprise for me not to find an AVA inspired nail art when I Googled it. I mean, really?
I love the band, the songs, the music, the lyrics the videos.. How can you not LOVE them after listening to at least one song?
If you have never listened to their masterpieces - shame on you!

This design looked sooo amazingly perfect on my nails! These are now one of my favorite designs I made (right after blink182/ava/plus44 mix on nails) you SHOULD do your nails the same! It'd be nice if you would take a picture of them! I'll add it to this blog as a example of someone, who re-done the design

And I'm still waiting for the book! As I am in Europe, and I ordered it from US amazon ( it was 2 times cheaper that way), it will be here only in two weeks or so... But I can't wait to get my hands on the book lol

You should! it was shocking for me to find out that on any European amazon it costs about 23 euros and on the US amazon it was 24 DOLLARS. ( which was a half price thing for the currency of my country lol) I have paid 13 Ls ( exactly 24.77 dollars) for it and I was so pleased with the price
